Jolene Pundsack

Jolene was employed with a large mental health agency from 2009-2014. During those years Jolene worked as a CTSS School-based and In-Home therapist. She transitioned to Out Patient therapy, 2010-2014, and ARMHS clinical supervisor, 2012-2014. Jolene established Independent Professional Practice in the Alexandria area January 2015. Areas of clinical interest include work with women and men regarding trauma, abuse, phase of life transitions, and empowerment. Areas of clinical practice include but are not limited to: trauma and stress related disorders, childhood sexual abuse (survivors), acute stress disorder, post-traumatic stress disorders, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, co-occurring disorders, and personality disorders. Eclectic approach is utilized drawing from Cognitive Behavioral, Cognitive Reprocessing, Narrative, Psychoeducational, Psychodynamic, ACT, Solution Focused, and Strengths-based. 

Jolene holds a Bachelor of Science in Community Psychology and a Master of Science in Community Counseling received from the Counseling Psychology Majors Program at St. Cloud University. Undergraduate fieldwork focused on working with battered women and children, residing in a shelter. Graduate internship included working with children ages 6-18 in a residential setting.

Jolene is an Independent Professional Psychotherapist. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, licensed by the MN Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy. Jolene is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, certified by IATP, International Association of Trauma Professionals.
